What are menstrual disorders?
Menstrual disorders are problems affecting the menstrual cycle, period regularity, duration, flow or pain.
Common concerns include irregular periods, delayed periods, heavy menstrual bleeding, painful periods, scanty periods, prolonged periods and bleeding between periods.
Menstrual cycles can naturally vary, especially during adolescence, after pregnancy and during the years approaching menopause.

Heavy bleeding causes weakness, dizziness or symptoms of anaemia.
